Abundantia describes an abstracted formation of intertwined natural elements. Influenced by the Arts and Crafts aesthetic from the late 1800’s which, with the use of natural forms and folk art style, was a reaction to the growth of the Industrial revolution. Connecting to the natural world is an important part of James Roper's practice, a similar reaction to living in the modern tech obsessed world.
