Paul studied fine art at the Glasgow School of Art, specialising in printmaking. Paul is known for his pop art screenprints and his association with Glasgow Print Studio. In recent years Paul has been working on a series of Icons. These Icons have intricate hand-made frames and are carefully finished with a distressed surface to look like old religious icons of saints. Hailing all the way from Glasgow, artist Paul Cassidy has joined us here in Manchester and we have a selection of his originals - meet one of them: Icon, Ziggy Blue. Compact, and pleasingly heavy, the icon frame is hand crafted by Paul, with gold embellishment, it is a fabulous item for any interior.
We are an independant contemporary art gallery based in Manchester City Centre run by Andrew Courtenay and Baiba Auria. We represent iconic traditional and progressive artists, some of whom are exclusive to our gallery.
