💜 'Sahasrara' is the seventh of seven signed limited edition prints inspired by each of the seven Chakras as defined by Hindu spiritual traditions. The Chakras, whether real or not, help us to focus on, connect with, and learn to express different aspects of who we are.

 💜 Sahasrara is Sanskrit for 'thousand petaled', it is otherwise known as the crown chakra as it resides at the top of the head. This chakra relates to pure consciousness and our connection to the divine. It can be seen as the flower that blossoms when the process of unblocking the other chakras is complete, unifying all seven together.

ABOUT JAMES ROPER

James work explores a variety of subjects from the heightened realities depicted in Baroque art and modern media to the restraint and release of energy found within complex structures such as the human body. He works in various mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture and film. He has exhibited widely throughout the world including both group and solo shows in London, New York, Los Angeles, Milan and Barcelona. Born in Knutsford, England, 1982. He graduated in 2005 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Manchester Metropolitan University.
